FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can I get a copy of the storage agreement ahead of time?
Yes! Please give us a call or email, and we will email you a copy of the storage agreement ahead of time. You can fill it out and send back to us, or bring with you the day you bring your vehicle for storage.
Can I have my battery hooked up to a trickle charger?
No. All batteries must be either disconnected or removed completely.
When do I pay my deposit by? When do I pay the full amount?
All deposits of $100 for any vehicle stored, must be made by August 15 to guarantee a spot is held. The remaining balance must be paid in full before, or the day of when bringing item into storage.Please note: All deposits are non-refundable after October 10.
When can I bring in my vehicle/boat etc?
All deadlines for each vehicle, with pick up days and times are posted on the main page.* ALL DAYS AND TIMES ARE FINAL, PLEASE SCHEDULE YOUR DROP OFF AND PICK UP ACCORDINGLY. TO KEEP ThINGS RUNNING SMOOTHLY AND HAVE EVERYONE'S VEHICLES COME OUT IN A TIMELY FASHION, THE DAYS AND TIMES LISTED ARE FINAL.*
Do I need to bring a car cover or mat for underneath car?
Vehicle covers are the tenant's responsibility if they would like to have their vehicle covered. (Buildings are all very clean, and closed up during storage season)We ask each tenant to please provide a drop cloth or cardboard to put underneath each vehicle, as slow leaks do seem to be a problem.
Do I need insurance?
Yes! Every vehicle stored must still have fire and theft insurance, at minimum. Boats and trails still need separate insurance, aside from insurance covering them when attached to your vehicle towing them.
Are the buildings safe?
Yes! We take pride in the cleanliness of our buildings with concrete floors. Every building is locked, with security cameras on property. Each building is insured with extra liability insurance. Mouse traps are set up in every building. No person(s) in buildings without being let in by staff and not to be left unattended. This is our 8th year in business, with the majority of our clients being return year after year.
Which buildings are heated?
Both buildings for vehicle storage are heated in the winter, between 8-10 degrees. In warmer months, we run dehumidifiers in every building. *ALL CARS/TRUCKS MUST BE ABLE TO FIT IN DOORWAYS 6'2" AND 6'4"
The building for boats and tent trailers/larger pick ups, fully insulated, not heated. (Does not get below zero degrees)*ALL BOATS/TRAILERS MUST BE UNDER 6'9
I forgot something in my vehicle, can I come get it?
Yes. Anyone is welcome to give us a call to set up a time to retrieve your items, we will escort you into the storage building.
The weather is nice, can I pick up my car earlier than posted pick up day?
No. Unfortunately with the number of vehicles we store, we must stick to these designated days and times to ensure everyone gets out on time. If the opportunity arises that your vehicle is freed up earlier, we will contact you.
Can I leave my vehicle in storage longer than the designated dates?
If you are wanting to store your vehicle longer than the seasonal term provided, prior arrangements must be made before vehicles start coming in to storage, to ensure no vehicles will be blocked in because of this. Additional rate of $50+hst/per month apply. Off-season rates available for longer term storage.
Do you offer Summer Storage?
Yes. We offer discounted rates for summer storage for all vehicles,boats, snowmobiles etc.
